The Automated Gate is based on a real system designed to secure a home or residence while allowing access to authorized persons and vehicles.
The system incorporates a real gate opening and closing mechanism with an electronic card.
The electronic card, based on "Arduino" modules, allows the voltages and currents of the power chain as well as the signals from the encoder for movement and the measurement of connecting rod force to be acquired and displayed on an LCD screen and on a PC via a USB connection. This "Arduino Mega" board also allows the programming of different cycles of system operation, notably via Matlab/Simulink or Labview.
A single-leaf educational gate with an adjustable brake and mechanical stops
An electromechanical operator equipped with an incremental encoder with its electronic management and control card
An HF remote control
A pair of sensors
A flashing light
A set of supplies for carrying out the installation scenarios
This system has the advantage of allowing several pairs of students to work simultaneously on different activities:
Digital support including:
SPORTNM: Automated Master Portal, SI/STI2D section
SPORTNBNC: Additional card option allowing signals to be read directly on an oscilloscope via BNC sockets
SPORTNE: Second motorized educational flap option (additional card in master flap)
SPORTNA: Photovoltaic power supply kit and solarimeter option
